Fall Nature Walk

What better way to spend a cool crisp fall day than a walk?
Faye Stoner was the leader for our fall nature walk.  Faye is a naturalist, who takes us on 3 trips a year , through the County Farm Park's woods.  There are always interesting things to learn about the flora and fauna of the woods.  See if you can answer the questions below.  If not, ask your child.  These are a few of the things we learned about on our trip.
What will happen if you eat 3
berries from the Virginia Creeper?

What makes wolf spiders different
from other spiders?
Can you eat Autumn Olives?
How do they taste?

Faye always reminds us not to eat a plant that you don't know and ask a trusted adult before you eat anything.
We can't wait till our winter walk.
