Here a rehearsal, there a rehearsal, everywhere a rehearsal, rehearsal,...we practiced our lines with Karl and Imogen. On the playground, the children started their own production of songs about Shan's dog, Ginger.
Thank you, Megan for the video.
Thursday, we spent most of the day at the Henry Ford Museum. We saw the DC-3 that we learned about in an episode of the show, "Innovation Nation". While at the museum, we saw "Innovation Nation" being filmed, "cameras, lights, everybody quiet". We saw how Mo Rocca had to practice his script, just like the children have been doing.

Beyond rehearsals, I finished reading Mouse on a Motorcycle. Now, it's the children's turn to read to the group. In the next two weeks, each child will have a turn to choose a book to read to the class. In Math, we continue working in our math books and practicing telling time.
I would also take a moment to thank Pat Bommarito. Pat has volunteered in our classroom for more than a year and a half. She is well loved by me and the many children she has assisted over many months. We will all miss Pat. She has assured us that she will be back to visit.
Pat thanks everyone for the cards, kind words, and the special gifts.
