Feathers

We finished reading Jacqueline Woodson's novel, Feathers.  While reading the book, we learned a little bit about life in the 1970's.  In the story, the main character, Frannie, listens to the Jackson 5 sing ABC and watches the cartoon, Casper the Friendly Ghost.  So we did too.  Watching these clips gave the children a small glimpse into the past.  If you are old enough, you can watch the clips and take a trip down memory lane, as I did.  If you are younger, you can have a few moments of "retro".
