Conjuring up Spring

It was a grey, chilly, day.  The first day of spring was several day ago but it still felt and looked like winter.  So, I suggested we try to encourage spring by making a colorful, flower mural.  The class eagerly took on the challenge.  All of a sudden a child yelled, "It worked! The sun is out!".  We went out to play in the "spring". Coats flew off and children ran around  in the beautiful afternoon, declaring, "We did it!  We did it!  We did it"
