Below is our weekly schedule. This will give you a general idea of what your child is doing at any given time of day. Of course, this is just the basic framework. More specific descriptions and details about what is happening will be poster regularly on mine and other teacher's blogs.

Monday and Wednesday

8:45-9:00 Classroom meeting time
9:00-10:00 Math activities
10:00-10:30 Snack and recess
10:30-11:30 Literacy Endeavors
11:30-12:30 Lunch and Recess
12:30-1:25 Quiet time *
1:25-2:20 Art
2:20-3:15 Music
3:15-3:30 Classroom wrap up and outside

Tuesday and Thursday

8:45-9:00 Gathering time
9:00-10:00 Math activities

Friday Enhancement

Our schedule will vary on Fridays. We use this day to take field trips, do special projects, and to explore materials and ideas in more depth.

*In January the kindergartners will have Latin on Mondays at 12:30.
