Children make their costumes at home and bring them to school on Halloween. The costumes do not need to be elaborate or time consuming to make: box can turn into a TV or a paper bag into a bird. The most important thing is to have fun making them and to let imaginations soar.
First thing in the morning, there will be an all school parade. After the parade the Lower Elementary (K, 1st and 2nd grades) will get together to do a variety of activities including making crafts with recycled materials. At lunch time, costumes come off and we transform back into Summers Knoll students.
I have included a couple examples of costumes from last year to stimulate ideas for this years costumes. Have fun!
