Weekly Schedule

Here is an outline of the weekly schedule. This schedule is not set in stone. Changes sometimes occur because of special events and projects. 

Keep in mind as you look at the schedule, that at Summers Knoll, as children work and play, they use a wide range of skills from a variety of disciplines. Even though subjects are designated at a particular time, this does not mean that they may not happen at other times of day. As in "real life", subjects are interconnected and interrelated. For example, there is an appointed "Reading" time on the schedule, but of course reading is included in almost everything we do. "Music with Josh" is on Tuesday and Thursday, but music and song are incorporated into many subjects including Math and French. Learning does not happen in isolation, it is fluid and organic.
