This morning, we took off our shoes and socks and imagined we were at a beach by the ocean. Then we entered the classroom and miraculously, it had been transformed into a beach covered with sea shells.
After collecting bags full of shells, we automatically started sorting them into piles which helped in the identification of the shells that were found. After organizing their shells, many children decided to make trades with other children.
(Many children sat in the water but they said it didn't matter because they had their swimsuits on. Isn't imagination a wonderful thing!)
