Can you roll your tongue? Are your earlobes attached? Can you taste the bitter taste of the PTC strip?
All these things are determined by the genes that come from your mother and father.
The first and second graders have charted the result of their findings on a tree. The tree is hanging in the hallway outside our classroom. Over the next couple weeks, more classrooms may add their results to the tree.

I love that you are learning DNA while I'm in college in biology learning about DNA. Actually, I learned a cool way to extract the DNA from peas if you want me to share it just let me know.
