Last week, the children made bookmarks. This week, I am randomly picking out a bookmark from the pile. The child who owns the bookmark gets to bring a book to school the following day.
The children can pick any book but they need to figure out if it is fiction or nonfiction. If they want to, they can also tell us which type of fiction or nonfiction the book is, i.e. fairy tale, historical fiction, mystery, realistic fiction, scientific, biography, ...
It will be interesting to see the variety of books that are brought in.
