Building a camel out of recycled materials

First you build a hump.
(boxes, bags, newspaper and bubble wrap)

Then you cover it.

(papier-mâché)

Find "used" camel colored pants,
and stuff the legs with plastic bags and newspaper...

Get a big empty paper tube and saw it to the size of a camel neck...

Paint the hump (left over camel colored wall paint)

Have an adult assemble the parts and .....

Voila, a camel

I love the camel. It is a camel with a beautiful personality, you can tell from the expression on its face. What a great project, Elaine.

The camel was lovely. I'd heard all about it, of course, but I wasn't prepared for the ambitious piece that I saw on Sunday. Thanks, Elaine, for another great project.
